Informs supervisor/manager immediately if unsafe conduct or conditions arise.nn nnThis position is responsible for leading custom packaging along with related custom packaging teams, the labeling lines and related warehouse operations to ensure meeting quality, safety and productivity goals.nn nn n1.

The ability to create production schedules and plans to maximize process flow to meet customer required due dates and forecasts.

Working knowledge of warehouse operations, packaging equipment, production databases & WMS, and overall production & custom packaging area management n n Productivity n
• Analyze production reports and provide weekly breakdowns of production misses and actions to be taken for improvements.

• Monitor and ensure operational metrics are achieved and entered into productivity database daily.

• Ensure that procedures for operating machines are followed and that machine downtime issues are addressed and minimized per SOP.

• Ensure that daily workflow planning and labor are in place to achieve customer expectations and achieve productivity goals.

• Ensure that Production & CP leadership are aware of established goals and are shared and tracked by team members either by digital signage and/or Goal Boards.

• Support Sales & Marketing with pricing model exercises and then establish production goal standards based on the agreed to pricing models.

• Work with Sales & Marketing to review production profitability.nn nn n Safety & Security n
• Ensure that teams meet all food/safety SOPs, GMWP’s, and AIB standards.

• Ensure that any type of equipment and facility building/grounds damage and repairs are reported and ETA’s are provided.

• Drive a culture of safety throughout operations and the company to achieve safety goals and objectives.

• Investigate safety incidents and ensure that corrective actions are implemented.

• Enforce that all safety & security policies and SOPs are enforced and followed by team members.nn nn n Quality: n
• Ensure that team members are aware of all customer SOP’s by documented sign offs both in the labeling & custom packaging operations.

• Follow up with leadership ensuring that all quality related checks and documentation is being performed and recorded for all production jobs.

• Investigate all quality issues providing root cause and corrective actions.

• Investigate production errors and ensure that corrective actions are implemented n
• Be knowledgeable of all customer contract requirements.

• Ensure that team members meet or exceed shipping accuracy of 99.9%.

• Ensure all paper work and data entries are accurate and completed by production and CP teams by required cut off times for the next business day ensuring billing accuracy.

• Complete cycle counting of all production items including product, raw materials and packaging materials used in production are followed per the Cycle Count SOP.

• Follow up ensuring that equipment and overall appearance is maintained as defined by the company.

• Ensure that monthly SOP and Facility audits are completed by due dates.nn nn n Management n
• Sets clear goals and expectations for all direct reports.

• Ensure that you share information with your direct reports in a timely manner.

• Provide feedback at annual review meetings, one on meetings or when necessary.

• Ensure that all employee performance issues are addressed and ensure that the Employee Counseling process is followed.

• Ensure that leadership shares and reviews company information via communication boards and pre-shift meetings.

• Focus on Continuous Improvement methodology and evaluate ways to improve the accuracy and efficiencies of each department by identifying 4 improvements annually.

• Communicate all aspects of the operation to the VP of Operations.

• Participate in daily communications with the Management Team.nn nn n General n
• Follow up ensuring that established Training Program guidelines are followed .

• Seek expertise/best practices from peers and support departments (i.e.

Information Systems, Human Resources, Operations Management, etc.).

• Obtain approval for decisions that obligate the company and follows expenditure policy as outlined by Sr.
